Thinking Football Summit 2022 and Emma establish a partnership
The Germany-based company will be a conference partner of the event where they will demonstrate the importance of sleep in sports performance
The Thinking Football Summit 2022 and Emma - The Sleeping Company will be partnering on the Grand Professional Football Fair.
The innovative company specialized in sleep will be Conference Partner of the event and will be responsible for the panel discussion "The impact of Sleep on an athlete's Performance", where the importance of sleep in high-performance sports will be debated.
Representing Emma - The Sleep Company at the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, between November 18 and 20, will be Theresa Schnorbach, Psychologist and Sleep Scientist, responsible for Emma's specialised consultancy service, which advises and monitors the sleep of professional football teams.
In addition to the panel debate, Emma will have an activation space that will simulate exercises done with professional Football players, in order to show the impact that lack of sleep can have on sports performance, a particularly relevant topic on the eve of the Qatar World Cup.
Emma is one of the European sleep innovation companies with the most remarkable recent growth. It has a team of over 850 people, with more than 65 nationalities represented in its international offices in Frankfurt, Manila, Lisbon, Shanghai and Mexico City.
It now leads the sleep sector and, through the services provided by its in-house neuroscientists to sports teams around the world, is demonstrating the essential link between sleep and athletic performance, something little explored in mainstream sports organisations until recently.
With the confirmed presence of Emma and her specialists, the Thinking Football Summit 2022 adds the importance of sleep on high-performance athletes to the already impressive list of topics that will be discussed and debated between November 18 and 20, at the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in the city of Porto.
