Gonçalo Uva, José Sampaio and Nora and Teresa Santos among the most recent confirmations

With the Grand Professional Football Fair fast approaching, the Thinking Football Summit 2022 announces a new set of confirmed speakers.

Gonçalo Uva, former Rugby player and current Senior Business Developer at APEX CAPITAL, has confirmed his presence at the Thinking Football Summit 2022. The Portuguese had an elite career, representing clubs such as Montpellier Rugby Club (TOP 14) and Racing Club Narbonnais (PROD2) in the French league for seven years.

Gonçalo also reached the mark of 100 games for the Portuguese National Team, including participation in the Rugby World Cup in 2007. A record that allowed him to join the Centurions Club. In October 2022, he joined APEX Capital as Senior Business Developer.

Another confirmed speaker is José Sampaio e Nora, an experienced lawyer with an established career in law and professional football.

Besides being a lawyer and consultant, he is also President of the Board of the Portuguese Sports Law Association, Arbitrator of the Parity Arbitration Commission of LPFP/SJPF and Member of the National Sports Council.

Last but not least, Teresa Santos is responsible for the sustainability department at FC Porto, having joined the Dragons in 2007. During her career at FC Porto, many projects have been implemented in the area of sustainability that elevated the FC Porto brand internationally, such as the implementation of colour coding for the colour blind, audio-description, or the implementation of reusable cups on match days.   Currently, she is also a lecturer at the FC Porto Football Science Institute.
