This Thinking Football promotional event brought together several renowned guests to discuss relevant topics of the Portuguese football, such as the "From youth ranks to elite level" and "Effective playing time".
The main themes were the importance of youth academies and the nuances inherent to the effective playing time. In the first panel, entitled "From youth ranks to elite level", journalist Carlos Daniel moderated the debate alongside football managers Nelo Vingada and Renato Paiva; Nuno Gomes, Ambassador of Liga Portugal, former player and former SL Benfica's Youth Academy Director, and Tomaz Morais, Sporting CP's Youth Academy Director were the speakers.
In the second part of the session, which was also moderated by Carlos Daniel, the subject discussed was the "effective playing time". This moment has also counted with the presence of manager Marco Silva; Costinha, former player and coach, and current Ambassador of Liga Portugal; Daniel Podence, Wolverhampton's player; Duarte Gomes, former referee; and Tiago Madureira, Liga Portugal's Executive Director.
