Thinking Football Summit and LG renew partnership
The South Korean tech giant, LG, will once again be the Official Tech Partner for the third edition of the Thinking Football Summit, further solidifying the successful collaboration that began in 2023. Known worldwide for its cutting-edge innovations, LG will be a key player at the summit, which annually brings together some of the most influential figures in the sports industry.
From September 12 to 14, LG will have an exclusive activation space at the Super Bock Arena, where it will showcase its technological solutions for stadiums. Attendees will have the chance to explore the latest innovations designed to modernize sports venues, focusing on enhancing communication between clubs, brands, and fans. LG will also supply the screens for the summit, ensuring a top-notch visual experience for all participants.
"LG is not just a tech partner; it is a strategic ally that shares our vision of transforming the future of football, both in terms of technology and the fan experience. We believe this collaboration will continue to bring great benefits, not only to the event but also to the football industry as a whole," said João Medeiros Cardoso, Managing Director of Liga Portugal Comercial.
Hugo Jorge, Marketing Director at LG Portugal, emphasized the company’s role in transforming stadiums and sports arenas over the last two decades through innovation. "Our tailored technology installations, including digital signage and display solutions, have been implemented in stadiums worldwide. This has enabled the creation of a 'spectacle within a spectacle,' enhancing not only visuals, lighting, and sound, but also the content experience, revolutionizing how fans watch a football game or experience a stadium."
He added, "LG is increasingly a key partner in football and sports in general, always aiming to improve the experience for fans and players. Our partnership with Liga Portugal and the Thinking Football Summit’s third edition is crucial, allowing us to strengthen our connection with this strategic sector, both in B2C and B2B solutions, while continuing to challenge ourselves to think about the future of technology in football."
