Allianz and Thinking Football Summit renew partnership
Allianz and Thinking Football Summit renew partnership
The Thinking Football Summit and Allianz have renewed their partnership, with the insurance company continuing as a Corporate Partner of the international football summit, which will take place from September 12 to 14 at the SuperBock Arena in Porto, Portugal.
Allianz, a global leader in the insurance sector, is widely recognized for its support of football in Portugal, serving as a sponsor of Liga Portugal and the naming sponsor of the League Cup since the 2018-2019 season. Beyond football, the brand is also involved in several other sports, such as surfing, and supports Olympic and Paralympic movements, underscoring its commitment to sports and social responsibility.
At the Thinking Football Summit, Allianz will contribute its expertise and knowledge in a discussion panel and the Conference on Sports Foundations, which will be held on the first day of the event. This Conference will address critical topics such as Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability, aligning with Allianz’s values and mission.
On-site, Allianz will also have an activation space specifically designed to engage and encourage all visitors to stay active, both physically and mentally. This area aims to provide dynamic experiences that promote well-being and active participation among attendees.
“The renewal of this partnership with Allianz is a testament to the mutual trust and success we have built together over the years. Allianz has been an essential partner, not only for its ongoing support of Portuguese football but also for its commitment to Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Continuing to count on their expertise and vision at the Thinking Football Summit is a privilege that will allow us to once again elevate this event and reinforce the role of football as a driver of social and sporting development,” says João Medeiros Cardoso, Managing Director of Liga Portugal Comercial.
“Allianz's participation in the Thinking Football Summit has become an essential part of our strategy to connect with the thousands of Portuguese football fans,” states José Francisco Neves, Chief Marketing Officer at Allianz Portugal, highlighting that this is “the summit where football is discussed from multiple perspectives, emphasizing the technical excellence of the sport.”
“This more scientific approach further strengthens Allianz’s connection to this event. We believe that we can contribute to the discussion with insights from a completely different industry, but one that is also entirely focused on technical excellence,” adds José Francisco Neves.
