Nicolás Burdisso will be present at the Thinking Football Summit
Nicolás Burdisso, a former Argentine international and current sporting director, has been confirmed as a speaker in the Thinking Football Summit 2024. The event will take place from September 12 to 14 at the Super Bock Arena in Porto.
As a sporting director, Burdisso worked at ACF Fiorentina in Italy for three seasons from 2021 to 2024, following his role at Boca Juniors in 2019. As a player, the former central defender represented Argentina in two World Cups and played for FC Internazionale, AS Roma, Torino FC, Genoa CFC, and Boca Juniors. His career accolades include eleven national titles and seven international titles, such as three Copa Libertadores, a FIFA U-20 World Cup, and a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
The Argentine joins an impressive lineup for the third edition of the Thinking Football Summit, which includes Deco, former Portuguese international and current Sporting Director of FC Barcelona; Ornella Desirée Bellia, Director of Professional Football Relations and Development at FIFA; Claire Bloomfield, Head of Women's Football at the European Club Association; Bianca Rech, Head of Women's Football at Bayern Munich; and Stefano Braghin, Head of Women's Football at Juventus.
