Claire Bloomfield confirmed at the Thinking Football Summit
Claire Bloomfield, Head of Women's Football at the European Club Association, is the latest confirmed speaker for the third edition of the Thinking Football Summit. The event will take place from September 12 to 14 at the Super Bock Arena in Porto, Portugal.
Former football journalist, Claire enjoyed a varied career in the media spanning more than a decade, which also included spells working with Chelsea Football Club and West Ham United. Since arriving at ECA in September 2020, Claire launched ECA’s first-ever women’s football strategy ‘Be a Changemaker’ and has been a driving force behind the transformation of the women’s club competition landscape and governance reforms. She works closely with ECA’s member clubs and key stakeholders across sporting, regulatory, high-performance, commercial, and political matters.
This new addition will join an already announced group set to discuss women's football, including Bianca Rech, Head of Women's Football at FC Bayern Munich; Francisco de Sá Fardilha, Technical Director of Women's Football at the same club; Stefano Braghin, Head of Women's Football at Juventus FC; Anne-Marie Itoua, Marketing and Communications specialist currently leading the Women's Football project at LTT Sports, a company supporting clubs in Strategy and Management; and British journalist Richard Laverty, a women's football specialist with publications in some of the most renowned sports journalism outlets.
Tickets for the Thinking Football Summit 2024 are now available, with discounts on the Delegate Pass and Streaming Pass until the end of June. There are also lower-priced tickets for students and a Corporate option, the only one granting access to all areas of the summit. Get yours HERE.
