New confirmations for the event that will take place from the 18th to the 20th of November 2022 have been announced
The Thinking Football Summit 2022 confirms three new speakers linked to the world of football.
Joining the line-up of speakers for the biggest Football event in Portugal, we have Luís Vicente, a vastly experienced sports executive with a 30-year track record of driving innovation, transformation, commercial growth and brand engagement in Sport. Luís is currently the Chairman of Europe’s leading athlete-led investment platform, Apex Capital, which he accumulates with several non-executive board and advisory positions at different organizations in sports.
Previously, Luís was Group CEO of Eleven Sports, a digital-first global sports broadcaster and member of the board of parent company Aser Ventures, a sports-focused investment platform that included ownership of Premier League club Leeds United. Luís was also a member of the Management Board at FIFA and the Football Governing Body first-ever Chief Digital Transformation & Innovation Officer, with responsibility for championing new technologies, gaming, data and content strategies.
Luís has served as well as CMO/CDO/CCO of La Liga historic football club Valencia CF, Director of Partnerships at Manchester City and advised Real Madrid CF CEO and President on football transfers and commercial development. Luís has also advised C-Level and ownership at Red Bull in Football, Motorsport and Sailing, Ferrari and Lotus in Formula 1 and as well A1GP. Luís was also a sport and commercial agent, managing some of the world's biggest soccer stars of the 90’s and the 2000’s, including Luís Figo, Ronaldo Nazario, Andryi Shevchenko and Roberto Carlos.
Tiago Gouveia is the Marketing Director of FC Porto, but his professional career began in 2002 at Super Bock Group, the leading Portuguese beverages company. There he worked in the Sales & Marketing department, having completed his stint in the company in the Marketing Sponsorship field.
In 2011, he combined his passion for the Blue and Whites with his vast knowledge, taking up the position he currently holds at FC Porto, integrating numerous transversal projects in the internationalisation of the brand, digital transformation of the communication platforms and the digitalisation of the stadium, among others. He is also a lecturer at the FC Porto Football Sciences Institute, the club's most recent venture in the area of training, research projects and development of new technological tools in the several sciences associated to football.
In 2021, FC Porto awarded him a Dragão de Ouro (Golden Dragon) for his work in the last sports season.
Last but not least, Henry started out in business at a young age with his own sportswear company. He then went into the world of media production, before selling his stake in the business a few years later, ready to seek his next challenge.
At 30, Henry became the youngest CEO in football with Forest Green Rovers, the world's greenest football club, competing in EFL League Two.
