Tom Burrows and Fred Antunes are the newest additions to the grand Professional Football fair, which will take place between the 18th and 20th of November
The Thinking Football Summit 2022 continues to increase the quality of its panel of speakers, with the confirmation of two new additions, who will be present at the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, between the 18th and 20th of November 2022.
One of the new confirmations is Tom Burrows, current EVP Rights at DAZN Group. At the company since 2015, the new speaker confirmed for the Thinking Football Summit 2022 began his career as a legal counsel, but a few years later he would be promoted to Head of the Legal Department – Content & Global Partnerships, then becoming the business’ most senior rights lawyer.
Burrows has been behind some of DAZN’s landmark rights deals, including the acquisition of Serie A in Italy, LaLiga in Spain and Bundesliga in Germany. Today, he is responsible for dealing with DAZN's global broadcast rights partnerships for sports competitions.
An accomplished sportsman, Tom spent time as a professional cricketer with Hampshire Cricket between 2005 and 2009.
Fred Antunes, CEO of the RealFevr platform and one of the first Bitcoin early adopters in Portugal, will also be present at the Thinking Football Summit 2022. After joining the crypto world in 2009, he now manages a mining camp of 800+ crypto units and remains an active trader and investor.
He is the current board president of the Portuguese Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Association and investigates blockchain technology's impact on human society as a solution to governance. Mined his first Bitcoins at the end of 2009, invested in the first real hard fork – Litecoin – and was whitelisted to Ethereum ICO.
