Camilla Prando, Jesus Bueno, Luís Campos and Francisco Lampreia are the latest confirmed speakers at the convention that will mark Professional Football
The Thinking Football Summit 2022 doesn't stop! After the launch of the event, with the first batch of speakers being revealed, there are now four more confirmed prominent participants at the major Professional Football summit in Portugal. Renowned professionals from various areas of the world of sport. They are Camilla Prando, Executive Director at São Paulo FC; Jesus Bueno, Vice President at NBA Europe, Africa and Middle East; Luís Campos, International Football Consultant and Francisco Lampreia, Senior Director at WME Sports (William Morris Endeavor Sports).
After announcing the new speakers, we shall now proceed to describe each one of them. Camilla Prando is in charge of the internationalisation project of the São Paulo club. A graduate from Stockholm University, the youngest female executive in Brazilian football has a proven background of overcoming obstacles, having been forced to abandon her professional football career as a player after a serious injury.
Straight from the NBA, Jesus Bueno will be another central figure at the event. With a history as a basketball player in some of the top Spanish clubs, such as FC Barcelona or Valencia Basket, the current Vice-President of one of the most important leagues (if not the most important national basketball league in the world, the North American one), "Chus Bueno" obtained an honorary doctorate in sports administration from the Lithuanian Sports University. He joined the NBA in 2010 and, following the arrival of Adam Silver as commissioner, was then promoted to his current position.
Luís Campos is an acclaimed name in world Football. He was Sporting Director at LOSC Lille and AS Monaco FC, winning the French championship title at both clubs, interestingly the only two league titles that Paris Saint-Germain FC haven't won in the last decade. He is currently an International Football Consultant and has also worked for Spanish giants Real Madrid CF.
Last but not least, Francisco Lampreia is the name that completes the new batch of confirmed speakers. One of the most multi-functional professionals in the Sports and Entertainment industry, with leadership positions in several European clubs such as Boavista FC, Manchester City FC or AC Milan, and also in Talent Management Agencies such as Fordham Sports, the now Senior Director of WME Sports (William Morris Endeavor Sports) holds an International MBA, is a guest lecturer in Business Schools across the European continent, and has also been involved in major sponsorship deals in the last decade, as well as representing some of the best players in world football.
The aforementioned names thus join Pedro Proença, President of Liga Portugal; Javier Tebas, President of LaLiga; Emanuel Macedo Medeiros, Global CEO at SIGA; Nuno Gomes, former international player and Ambassador of Liga Portugal; Marcos Senna, former international player and Ambassador of LaLiga; Abel Ferreira, Head Coach at Palmeiras; Marcos Motta, sports lawyer, and Russell Jones, General Manager at Wolverhampton Wanderers, in the list of confirmed speakers at the Thinking Football Summit 2022.
