The Portuguese brand is the event's latest corporate partner
A partner of Football in Portugal for several years, Continente is today joining the biggest event dedicated to the sport ever held in our country, the Thinking Football Summit.
With the resounding success of the partnership established this season with Liga Portugal, the opportunity has arisen to further strengthen the ties between the two institutions, with the market-leading brand taking part in the Great Professional Football Fair on 7, 8 and 9 September at the Super Bock Arena.
"The Continent will have an activation in the Fan Zone of the event, giving participants the opportunity to experience the 'Chutómetro by Continente.' The brand's participation in the event will not be limited to the Fan Zone and will include the participation of Nádia Reis, Director of Communication of the company, in a panel discussion. According to Nádia Reis, 'Football is much more than a sport; it should always represent teamwork, mobilization of people for a common purpose, equality, resilience, inclusion, unity, and respect. These are fundamental values for Continente for over 37 years, which we want to continue pursuing, helping to bring more and more families to football stadiums, democratizing access to sports. The Thinking Football Summit is an important moment of reflection on the sport that captivates and unites millions of fans worldwide.'
'The success of the recently established partnership between Liga Portugal and Continente is undeniable, so extending it to the Thinking Football Summit is something that can only leave us very satisfied,' revealed João Medeiros Cardoso, General Director of Liga Portugal Comercial. 'We want this second edition to be even better than the first, and therefore, we always look for partners of the highest renown and value to make this possible, and Continente fits perfectly into our goals,' he concluded."
