Portuguese coach Abel Ferreira is confirmed to join the panel of speakers attending the Thinking Football Summit scheduled for November 18th to 20nd, 2022, at the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, in Porto.
The former Portuguese international player, who was a right-back at FC Penafiel, Vitória SC, SC Braga and Sporting CP, continued his coaching career as an assistant manager at Sporting CP's B Team, for which he won the national champion title, then he moved to SC Braga B as head coach, and afterwards to their main team, and later on to PAOK (Greece) and then Palmeiras (Brazil), where he won the Copa Libertadores 2020, having already secured a place in this year's final of the competition. A more technical approach, as well as the particularities of managing a group of players and the competitive framework will be some of the topics addressed by Abel Ferreira.
